We are delighted that you are considering Brentwood Park Kindergarten for your child’s early learning journey. As a member of the Maroondah Integrated Kindergarten Association (MIKA), our 3 and 4-year-old enrolments are managed through a central application system to ensure a fair and transparent process for all families in our local area.
Steps to apply
When to apply
Applications should be submitted during the year before your child is eligible to attend. This allows our committee and educators to plan for the coming year.
Key dates
Applications typically open on 1 March and close on 30 June each year. We recommend applying early within this window.
What you’ll need
To establish proximity and eligibility, you will need to provide proof of your child’s date of birth and your current residential address.
How the process works
MIKA manages applications and allocates places across its member kindergartens based on parent preference and residential proximity.
To ensure consistency in our community, please be aware that attending our 3-year-old program does not automatically guarantee a placement in our 4-year-old program the following year.
All placements are processed annually through the MIKA central system.
